            Ratnapura is the major city in Sri Lanka. It is the capital city of Sabaragamuwa Province, as well as the Ratnapura  District, and is a traditional center for the Sri Lankan gem trade. The name "Ratnapura "is a Sanskrit word meaning " City of gems", from the Sanskrit words pura and ratna. It is the center of a long - established industry of precious stone meaning including rubies sapphires and other gems. A part from gem mining, the production of rice and fruit. Large plantations of tea and rubber surround the city.There is a established tourism industry in Ratnapura. Nearby Sinharaja Forest Reserve, Udawalawa National Park, Kitulgala and Adam's peak are especially popular among tourists.

But online education is not match to our country . because Sri Lanka is developing country every day. Every student haven't mobile phones or laptops, everywhere haven't signal in same. As a result, many children have stopped learning.  As results of online education eye disorders, spine disorders, many children  addict to online games etc.so online education in not suitable to school students. 

                                                    Technology is the Weapon of choice in the world. No one knows how long the technology will last. Technology is developing day by day. Now a day every one has a mobile phone, so technology is in our hand. This enable you to know instantly what is happening in the world.  In the past have long time to deliver a message, but not today. Technology has advanced enough to deliver instant messaging. EX ; WhatsApp, email, twitter etc. Technology is now evolving into higher education. Especially O/L , A/L students ICT subject learning is must and A/L student can learn TEC for there A/L stream.  Also , the Technical University, Technology schools has built.

                                Vesak festival is the main festival  in Buddhist. Buddhists and some Hindus mainly in South Asia , Southeast Asia and East Asia observed by Vesak. The  birth, enlightenment and Piriniwan of the Buddha take place here. Vesak is celebrated in the month of May. Buddhists go to the temple in this day. Various festivals in the temples are held in parallel with this. Bathi gee competition, Vesak  lanterns competition etc.         Elders, young, children all are celebrate Vesak festival  happily. Elders observe sil and children , young people create various types of beautiful Vesak lanterns.
